Minecraft Skin Viewer

Minecraft Skin Viewer is a program that lets you view Minecraft skins in a 3D environment.

One of the joys of Minecraft is its infinite ability to allow users to be creative. Sometimes it's in game, making everything from primitive mud huts to giant skull fortresses with lava flows coming out of the eyes. Sometimes it's out of game, with users making all manner of mods to update the formula and add something new to the experience.

What Minecraft Skin Viewer does is let you turn the 2D skin files into 3D models so you can view them from any angle. The program lets you move your character around like an artists model so you can pose them for great screenshots to share with your friends.

Another great feature of the app is the ability to change the background. Using this feature means you can see how your skin would look against any number of areas that could appear in the game and means your screenshots will look even more professional and varied.

If you're the creative type then you can also view how your newly made skin looks in real time using Minecraft Skin Viewer. Once you've loaded the file into Minecraft Skin Viewer you can continue working on it in Photoshop and just by saving it in Photoshop it will update automatically in Minecraft Skin Viewer. This means if you're running the programs side by side it's as easy as clicking Ctrl + S in photoshop and hey presto, the model updates in Minecraft Skin Viewer.

Minecraft Skin Viewer gives you a really easy way to try them out before jumping into game with them as well. Just download your preferred skin, load it into the app and check out how your character would look in game.
